of Medical Imaging Technology IMIT offers seminars
in Magnetic Resonance Imaging, X-ray Computed Tomography, Nuclear
Medicine, PET-CT,and related medical imaging fields. Most of our
courses are accredited by ASRT for up to 8 Hrs. of credit. The
courses are held primarily in the North East US. Our seminars
emphsize understanding the science and physics behind the modality.
Very little memorization - if any - is employed. The MRI seminar
makes use of hands-on demonstrations of oscillation, precession,
resonant frequency, Larmor frequency, spin-induced precession,
Faraday's law of induction, and related laboratory demonstrations.
These hands-on demonstrations make learning MRI more joyful than a
